Live Cricket Score, IPL 2017, T20, Kings XI Punjab vs Rising Pune Supergiants: Ben Stokes fires fifty
INDORE: Having begun their campaign in a rousing fashion by beating the Mumbai Indians in a thriller on Thursday night at home Rising Pune Supergiant will look to keep the momentum going when they take on last year s bottom-placed team Kings XI Punjab at the MPCA Stadium here on Saturday afternoon. The only impediment for the Pune team could be fatigue as this game comes without a gap after their opener and the heat. The temperature here could reach as high as 37 degrees. In that sense the Kings XI Punjab team is better off the hosts play three matches here before they move to Mohali and have been camping here for the for the past days. Both Pune and Punjab had a poor IPL 2016 - RPS finished second last after losing nine and winning five out of their 14 games while Kings brought up the rear as they lost 10 and won four. On paper though it s Pune who hold the aces. The primary reason why the Supergiant look favourites is the presence of their new captain Steve Smith - arguably the best batsman in world cricket on current form. While Ajinkya Rahane gave a cracking start to Pune the other day with his 34-ball 60 it was the Australian skipper s magical innings a breathtaking unbeaten 84 off 60 balls including two sixes off Pollard s final two balls with helped them chase down 184 against Mumbai. While Smith and Rahane have hit their straps early Pune would be hoping that their other big guns - ex-captain MS Dhoni and all-rounder Ben Stokes - too come to the party soon. Smith would hope that his leggie Imran Tahir who put the brakes on the MI innings with three top-order wickets now leaves the KXIP batsmen in a spin. Playing two leg-spinners - Tahir and Adam Zampa - is a brave move but it seems to be working for Pune. Like Pune KXIP too have a new captain this time and he too is an Aussie. But unlike Smith Glenn Maxwell despite all his talent has much to do to prove himself. In his second innings in the game as the director of cricket operations at Kings XI Punjab Virender Sehwag has taken a huge punt by the appointing the Big Show as his skipper. All Maxwell managed in the last IPL season was 179 runs in 11 games @19.88. It would be interesting to see if the responsibility of leadership brings the best out of this ultra-attacking batsman. Kings would also miss their India opener Murali Vijay who has been replaced with pacer Ishant Sharma. The medium pacer isn t exactly T20 material but would surely be fired up after being snubbed at the auction. Besides Maxwell if there s one man who can lift this team it is batsman David Miller. The South African had a nightmarish IPL last season and would be itching to make amends.
Indore: Rising Pune Supergiant would aim to build on a promising start when they take on last season s laggards Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League in Indore on Saturday.Steven Smith who has replaced Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the Pune captain began the season in style by smashing an unbeaten 84 yesterday to seal a seven wicket win for his team in its IPL opener against Mumbai Indians. The Australian would be hoping his dream run with the bat rubs off on to the Pune outfit which is eyeing a turnaround after a forgettable IPL debut last season. The team had finished second last in the standings only ahead of Kings XI.Steve Smith (L) and MS Dhoni will be hoping to lead Rising Pune Supergiant to another win in Indore. AFPPune s spinners -- Imran Tahir and Adam Zampa -- impressed on Friday but Smith will be expecting more from Ashok Dinda and Deepak Chahar considering the Indian pace duo leaked runs against Mumbai.Ben Stokes the most expensive foreign buy in the IPL auction had a decent debut for Pune as he picked up a wicket before coming up with a 21-run cameo that included three sixes.Ajinkya Rahane was sublime at the top of the order while Dhoni didn t get too much to do with http://buybacklinkz.total-blog.com/the-top-5-seo-tools-recommended-by-experts-5468495 the bat. Smith stole the show courtesy a couple of sixes in the final over of the match.Pune will be up against Kings XI a team looking to make amends for finishing last in the previous two seasons. They would be hoping their bold decision of making Glenn Maxwell the captain ahead of established names like Eoin Morgan pays off.It remains to be seen what combination Kings XI goes ahead with in their IPL opener.Though they have retained their core group Kings XI bought eight players in the IPL auction including well known names like Morgan Darren Sammy Martin Guptill and Varun Aaron. The squad has been training at the Holkar Stadium for about a week now and should be well-versed with the conditions.Sources confirmed that Sammy is yet to join the team. The World Twenty20 winning West Indian captain and Morgan had recently played for Peshawar Zalmi franchise in the Pakistan Super League. The team was dealt a blow in the run up to the IPL when senior batsman Murali Vijay was ruled of the competition due to an injury. Pacer Ishant Sharma who went unsold in the auction was named Vijay s replacement.Squads:Rising Pune Supergiant: Steven Smith (captain) MS Dhoni Ajinkya Rahane Ben Stokes Faf du Plessis Usman Khawaja Manoj Tiwary Mayank Agarwal Ankit Sharma Baba Aparajith Ankush Bains Rajat Bhatia Deepak Chahar Rahul Chahar Daniel Christian Ashok Dinda Lockie Ferguson Jaskaran Singh Saurabh Kumar Milind Tandon Jaydev Unadkat Adam Zampa.Kings XI Punjab: Glenn Maxwell (captain) David Miller Manan Vohra Shaun Marsh Armaan Jaffer Martin Guptill Eoin Morgan Rinku Singh Sandeep Sharma Arman Jaffer Anureet Singh Mohit Sharma KC Cariappa Pradeep Sahu Swapnil Singh T Natrajan Matt Henry Varun Aaron Axar Patel Marcus Stoinis Gurkeerat Mann Rahul Tewatia Darren Sammy Wriddhiman Saha Nikhil Naik.#Adam zampa#Ajinkya rahane#Ashok dinda#Ben stokes#Darren sammy#Eoin morgan#Glenn maxwell#Imran tahir#Indian premier league#Ipl#Ipl 10#Ipl 2017#Ipl 2017 kxip#Ipl 2017 rps#Kings xi punjab#Mahendra singh dhoni#Martin guptill#Mumbai indians#Rising pune supergiant#Varun aaron
Steve Smith and MS Dhoni combined for an unbeaten 44-run stand to take Rising Pune Supergiant over the line against Mumbai Indians in a last-over finish in their opening match of the Indian Premier League s 10th season.Smith deservedly won the man-of-the-match award for his superb unbeaten 84 off 54 balls. Along with Dhoni the Australian also shared two half-century partnerships with Ajinkya Rahane (60) and Ben Stokes (21). Needing 13 to win off the last over Smith hit two consecutive sixes off Kieron Pollard to help RPS achieve their target of 185. Dhoni was unbeaten on 12 off as many deliveries. The post-match discussion should have been about Smith s continuing rich vein of form which saw him plunder 499 runs in four Tests against India prior to the IPL albeit in a losing cause. The Australian is currently one of the best batsmen in the world across formats and RPS have a genuine match-winner as captain.Smith overshadows Dhoni However that wasn t enough. After the match ended Harsh Goenka the chairman of RPG Enterprises and brother of RPS owner Sanjiv Goenka tweeted the following: Smith proves who s the king of the jungle. Overshadows Dhoni totally. Captains innings. Great move to appoint him as captain. (sic) The tweet has since been deleted but not before it did the damage. RPS decision to appoint Smith as captain this year after a poor first IPL season in 2016 in which the Dhoni-led team finished second from bottom had not been a popular one.Dhoni is one of India s most successful captains ever. Apart from leading India to two World Cup wins he has also captained the suspended Chennai Super Kings to two IPL titles and five finals. Sacking a man with such an impressive resume was bound to come with some backlash from fans but the RPS management was still well within its rights to do so.It is highly likely that this will be Dhoni s final season at RPS. CSK owner and former BCCI President N Srinivasan has said on more than one occasion that Dhoni will mostly be back in the yellow jersey from next season. This could have been one of the reasons RPS sacked Dhoni as captain looking ahead to the future. However when a senior management figure not least the owner s brother publicly derides its own player while trying to justify its decision it comes across very poorly. Goenka should have just congratulated his team for the win and praised Smith s captain s innings . Was there really a need to say that Smith overshadows Dhoni ?Goenka isn t the only RPS figure who has publicly taken sides. In the post-match press conference Rahane was also asked to compare the captaincy of Smith and Dhoni. The India international began his response diplomatically but then went on to specify who he thought the best leader was. For me Dhoni is still the best See it s very difficult to say right now because this was my first game under Smith Rahane said. I ve played under Mahi Dhoni bhai s captaincy and we all know he is a world-class leader. I think people should not compare Smith and Dhoni s captaincy. He is still a world-class player MS Dhoni. If you saw he was giving inputs to Smith on the field . Yes Smith obviously did well for Australia but for me MS Dhoni is still the best leader. This was my first game under Smith and he s learning from Dhoni. I was watching them he was taking advice from Dhoni. He would like to take more advice from Dhoni in the coming games. For me @msdhoni is still the best leader says @ajinkyarahane88 on #MSDhoni vs #Smithy debate - @RPSupergiants #IPL pic.twitter.com/FfGgkMjNh6 IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) April 7 2017 It is not surprising that Rahane considers his compatriot Dhoni whom he has played under a lot more the better leader. But by saying so publicly he is only implying that either there are two camps in the RPS setup or that the players do not agree with the management s decision on captaincy or perhaps both. Rahane could have stopped at saying it s difficult to compare their captaincy but by stating his favourite and pointing out that Smith takes Dhoni s advice he is not doing either of them or his team any favours. Public relations and RPS don t go well together. From naming the franchise after the owner s company s initials the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group to dropping the s from Supergiants after the team s failure last season to spending Rs 14.5 crore out of their available budget of Rs 17.5 crore on Ben Stokes an overseas player who will mostly miss the second half of the season because of international duty RPS haven t had the best of media coverage in the build-up to this season. Now with the players and management making their difference in opinion public the focus has already shifted away from on-field performances. Pune have started their season well with a fantastic win fuelled by their in-form new skipper. But these petty off-field skirmishes http://bubacklinksz.blogminds.com/article-backlinks-the-pros-and-cons-2191363 could end up derailing their campaign.
NEW DELHI: Rising Pune Supergiant picked the big fish in Ben Stokes but that isn t all the side has to offer. Losing R Ashwin and Mitchell Marsh before the season are big blows but the side has made up for their absence with some thoughtful local additions. They have even made a couple of trades that they hope yields the desired results. Ben Stokes (14.5 crore) Pune snatched England allrounder Stokes for a staggering 14.5 crore making him the costliest buy in the history of IPL auctions. Stokes was the highlight of the auction having bagged a blockbuster deal from a base price of Rs 2 crore. The 25-year-old has played 77 Twenty20 matches in which he has scored 1272 runs at an average of 22.71 with five fifties and taken 32 wickets at 36.40 apiece with an economy rate of 8.60. He brings to Supergiant a strike-rate of 134.03 and most recently in India turned in a good showing in the ODI series. After that series Yuvraj Singh tipped Stokes to earn millions at the auction. (AFP Photo) Mayank Agarwal (Trade) Pune acquired Mayank Agarwal in the second trading window. Agarwal started the IPL playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore between 2011 and 2013 before he was signed by Delhi Daredevils. For them he played 21 matches spanning three seasons and scored 355 runs http://buybacklinsz.blogzet.com/what-are-backlinks-off-page-seo-1938157 at an average of 17.75. Supergiants failed to find a reliable opening partner for Ajinkya Rahane last season and finished second-bottom in the table. Agarwal s signing comes on the backdrop of his performances in the Karnataka Premier League where he finished as the leading run-getter in the tournament. He made 414 runs at an outstanding average of 103.50 to go with a strike rate of 172.50 including one century and three half-centuries. (TOI Photo) Daniel Christian (1 crore) An allrounder who can bat in the middle order and squeeze in economical overs Daniel Christian has always delivered in big match scenarios. Recently in the BBL Christian who has played 15 T20Is for Australia took 5/14 - the tournament s second best bowling figures - for Hobart Hurricanes against Adelaide Strikers. And ever http://buybacklinkz.mybjjblog.com/important-facts-about-a-backlinks-indexer-the-secrets-2474851 since http://buybacklinkwz.isblog.net/social-bookmarking-backlinks-pro-s-and-con-s-2722792 his wily medium-pace fetched him a wicket almost every two overs at all stages of the innings: inside the Powerplay middle overs or at the death. (TOI Photo) Manoj Tiwary (50 lakh) It was an anxious wait for Tiwary before being finally picked by Pune during the auction. The Bengal skipper was one among the nine cricketers from the state to be listed at the auction. In the end only Tiwary and pacer Sayan Ghosh were picked by the Supergiant and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively. He led underdogs East Zone to their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali title. Against a star-studded North Zone Tiwary struck an unbeaten 43-ball 75 to lead East Zone to an eight-wicket win. After sharing the KKR and Delhi Daredevils dug out in the past will he find a settled home at Supergiant? (TOI Photo) Lockie Ferguson (50 lakh) Ferguson is New Zealand s newest pace bowling hope. In his only T20I Ferguson picked up three wickets against Bangladesh as New Zealand won the game by six wickets. Ferguson also claimed the prized wicket of David Warner in his very first ODI and that was when the batsman was going through a brilliant run of form notching up centuries almost every second match. At some point Ferguson he will feature in the Pune playing XI. (Getty Images) Jaydev Unadkat (30 lakh) The lanky left-armer Unadkat has been in the IPL scenario for quite a while now but inconsistency due to injury concerns have always restricted him from giving his best. His current form isn t the greatest but he has shown time and again how well he can use his domestic experience to good effect. Remember Pune s domestic bowling strength isn t the greatest. In such a scenario someone like Unadkat who is aware of the nuances of IPL will be a big factor in the bowling department. (TOI Photo) Shardul Thakur (Trade) Thakur is Pune s second trade of the season. His addition will add substance to their Indian seam bowling group which includes Ashok Dinda Deepak Chahar Ishwar Pandey Rajat Bhatia and Unadkat. Thakur was bought by Kings XI Punjab in 2014 for 20 lakh but he ended up playing just one match for them in 2015 after which he was released. Thakur overcame the disappointment by putting up a string show for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and even earned himself an India call-up when he was named in the squad for the West Indies tour last year. (TOI Photo) Rahul Chahar (10 lakh) Brother of Rajasthan batsman Deepak Chahar Rahul is a 17-year-old legspinner who played a vital role in India s Under-19 campaign in the Youth Cup ODIs against England. He picked up 4/33 in the third match as the Indian boys chased down England s 216-run target in 44.1 overs. Rahul s stock ball is the googly and there is a strong chance Steve Smith includes him in the Playing XI at a point considering how weak Pune s spin department is. (TOI Photo) Saurabh Kumar (10 lakh) An aggressive left-hand bat Saurabh is coming off a productive Ranji Trophy season where during a Group A ninth round match a century from him against Baroda lifted Uttar Pradesh to 481 after being reduced to 207/7. Prior to that he had scored two half-centuries - 53 against Railways and 52 against Punjab. Saurabh bowls effective left-arm spin and has two first-class five-wicket hauls. Hence his all-round skills cannot be neglected. (TOI Photo)
First they changed their captain then the team s name. Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) are all set to feature in their second season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While the other newcomers Gujarat Lions made their mark by reaching to the business end of the tournament last year MS Dhoni s RPS could not replicate the same success in their first appearance and failed to qualify for the playoffs having finished seventh on the table. Now the captaincy has shifted from the experienced Dhoni to Australia skipper Steve Smith. Hence the former captain s role will be restricted in RPS second edition. non-etheless he still will have a big role to play. RPS bagged England all-rounder Ben Stokes for whopping Rs 14.50 crore which also made Stokes the most expensive overseas player in IPL history. He will be the one to watch out for in IPL 2017. But the biggest setback for the team has been the pull out of Ravichandran Ashwin from the entire season due to sports hernia. RPS boast of Smith Ajinkya Rahane Dhoni and Faf du Plessis and have a http://buybacklnksz.tblogz.com/what-are-internal-and-external-backlinks-1957576 more settled top six than last year. Smith s skills as captain will also come in handy as they seek a fresh start. The middle-order looks solid in the presence of Dhoni Stokes and Du Plessis. Moreover RPS also have some serious all-rounders in its squad who can turn the game around on their day. The bowling looks to be the weak spot and could lead to their downfall if the Steve Smith and Co. don t spot the right combination early. Ashok Dinda Ishwar Pandey and Shardul Thakur will have to work really hard to justify their presence in the new-look team. Squad: Steve Smith (C) Mayank Agarwal Ankit Sharma Baba Aparajith Ankush Bains Rajat Bhatia Deepak Chahar Rahul Chahar Dan Christian MS Dhoni (w) Ashok Dinda Faf du Plessis Lockie Ferguson Imran Tahir Jaskaran Singh Usman Khawaja Ajinkya Rahane Saurabh Kumar Ben Stokes Milind Tandon Manoj Tiwary Adam Zampa Jaydev Unadkat Ishwar Pandey Rahul Tripathi Shardul Thakur.

Fear not Sportsmail s graphic below should explain a little more about the second round of the 2017 Formula One season. 07:20 Vettel fastest in final practice Sebastian Vettel carried on where he left off in Australia by leading the way in practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. Vettel cemented his pre-season status as the No 1 rival to Lewis Hamilton and his all-conquering Mercedes team with his and Ferrari s first victory in 18 months following their triumph at Melbourne s Albert Park a fortnight ago. And the four-time champion was fastest at the Shanghai International Circuit on Saturday morning with his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen fractionally slower in second and Hamilton only fourth. Vettel s lap of one minute and 33.336 seconds - at a track which was set to play to Mercedes strengths - sends out an ominous warning to Hamilton who was some 0.543 sec further back and slower than has team-mate Valtteri Bottas too. Hamilton however made a slight mistake on his fastest lap - running wide at the hairpin - to provide him with some hope that he will be able to match Vettel in qualifying later on Saturday. Following Friday s weather farce in which second practice was abandoned without one driver completing a single lap blue skies ensured a frenetic one-hour session here as the cars roared back into life on a dry track. Malaysia will play host to its final Formula One Grand Prix in October after the government and the game s commercial rights holders stated their agreement would end a year early. The state-of-the-art track has been hosting races since the 1999 season. It s always sad to say goodbye to a member of the Formula 1 family. Over nearly two decades the Malaysian Formula One fans have proven themselves to be some of the sport s most passionate supporters said Sean Batches Formula One commercial operations managing director in a statement.Malaysia s Prime Minister Najib Razak revealed that a steep decline in ticket sales viewership and tourism were the reasons behind the decision to pull out of hosting the race Reuters reported. The Cabinet has agreed to end the contract for hosting the Formula One race... after considering lowering returns to the country compared to the cost of hosting the championships Razak said in a report compiled by Reuters. The race at Sepang circuit is scheduled to take place on October 1.Competition from other races in Asia has taken a toll on the Malaysian GP. In his statement Razak also noted that when the race was first held at Sepang International Circuit nearly two decades ago there was only one other Asian country on the F1 calendar Japan reported PTI. 1) Mika Hakkinen on Michael Schumacher (Belgium 2000) It was a great overtaking manoeuvre Mika Hakkinen said after winning a breathtaking Belgian Grand Prix. I loved it. Hakkinen had arrived at Spa on top of the drivers championship standings and on course for a third successive world title with an understanding of exactly what made his McLaren tick. His closest rival was a 31-year-old Michael Schumacher desperate to add a third world title five frustrating years after his second. Hakkinen began the race on pole but a minor spin in the wet allowed Schumacher to pass and grab the race lead. The Flying Finn gave chase and with three laps to go as he approached the bottom of the eye-popping climb through Eau Rouge he took a gamble at which point Mika takes up the story himself: It was a big risk but it was a calculated risk Hakkinen later wrote. I was going to take Eau Rouge flat. In those days taking Eau Rouge flat was not something for the faint-hearted. The penalty for getting it wrong was usually an enormous accident. Worse still the track was still damp off-line so I knew I would have to be millimetre-perfect not an easy thing to be in the world s most daunting corner foot to the floor powering through the apex towards a blind exit. The Joy of Six: F1 s strangest racing cars | Simon Burnton Read more I decided to count to three daring myself to keep my foot planted on the loud pedal as I counted knowing that by the time I got to three I would either have taken Eau Rouge flat or would be in the barriers. One I said aloud and the car began to tremble assaulted by tremendous g-forces both lateral and compressional Two I gasped sawing at the wheel as the car pitched first this way and then that. For a split second right in the middle of the corner I thought I could not hold it. The car was absolutely on tippy-toes but then it gripped and clung on. Three I yelped just as the car went scarily light on the exit of the corner. I had done it. I had taken Eau Rouge flat in a race not in a qualifying session with only a very narrow dry line on which to do it. Michael had clearly not taken Eau Rouge flat because I was now catching him at a rate of knots. As we approached Les Combes I spotted Ricardo Zonta s BAR-Honda which we were about to lap. I thought: Whichever way Michael goes I ll go the other. He went to the left so I went to the right braking as late as I dared off-line on a still-damp track at 300km/h (186mph). As I turned in I had done it; I had passed Michael. I had retaken the lead. It was a beauty to watch in full flow but although Hakkinen won the race it didn t count for much. Schumacher won the final four races of the season to steal the world championship away the first of his five successive titles and it would be nearly a year until Hakkinen won again. Facebook Twitter Pinterest 2) Felipe Massa on Bruno Senna (Singapore 2012) Attempting to overtake on the streets of the Singapore Grand Prix is a little like trying to pass someone lugging two heavy-duty suitcases up the world s longest escalator: you re stuck hemmed in by metal walls until they get off. But perhaps if you were to barge through with arms flailing like an unpredictable drunk they might get out of your way. Enter Felipe Massa. Massa s frustration is palpable in the onboard footage as his Ferrari tails the Williams of Bruno Senna around the tight Marina Bay Circuit; try as he might he cannot find a way through a queue of cars snaking obediently around the track. Each time he tries to power out of a corner and past Senna the faster Williams kicks away. His agitation is growing. Those emotions fuel Massa s manic decision as they approach turn 13. He lunges his Ferrari into the tiniest of gaps between metal barrier and Senna visibly battling with his steering wheel to keep his car from colliding with either. Senna pulls away alarmed by the loose cannon which has appeared beside him but somehow Massa manages to keep control and prevent his car spinning off into the night before cooly taking the left turn on the inside and leaving Senna to file in behind all hemmed in. Facebook Twitter Pinterest 3) Nigel Mansell on Gerhard Berger (Mexico 1990) In among Mexico City s dusty eastern sprawl lies the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The track was named after the driver Pedro Rodríguez and his brother Ricardo a rising star who died in practice for the 1962 Mexican Grand Prix when his Lotus failed at the fast Peraltada corner and slammed into the barriers. The 20-year-old s death left Mexico in mourning and it gave the bend a fearsome reputation. In those days the approach to Peraltada banked intimidatingly into the arcing 180-degree right hander like a velodrome. It was a high-speed turn and pushing its limits without exceeding them was one of the most difficult challenges in Formula One; Ayrton Senna was another to lose control there in 1992 walking away unhurt after his car hit the barriers and flipped. The Joy of Six: formula one season finales Read more Nigel Mansell was in third place during the last lap of the 1990 Mexican Grand Prix when he approached Peraltada twitching in Gerhard Berger s wing mirrors. As Berger took the racing line Mansell fearlessly slung his Ferrari around the outside forcing the Austrian to submit rather than try and hold off his rival at 150mph on a bend. Mansell glided around the extremities of the turn before crossing the line in second place. That was sheer lunacy at its best Mansell later said. I think Gerhard was surprised it s not http://buybacklinkss.canariblogs.com/increase-traffic-to-your-blog-with-backlinks-2174537 a manoeuvre you do. It s an outrageous manoeuvre and I think he backed out because he thought there was probably going to be a big accident that he might be involved in. The element of surprise was key. If you take someone s wind out of their sails especially when you re driving a car at those speeds and then the car has a wobble as well then any normal sane person would back out of it. To get him back was fantastic. It was probably one of the most daring overtaking manoeuvres in F1 history. Twenty-five years after he had conquered Peraltada Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez renamed its most feared corner the Nigel Mansell Turn. Facebook Twitter Pinterest 4) Gilles Villeneuve on René Arnoux (France 1979) The final two laps of the 1979 French Grand Prix produced the sort of duel rarely seen in modern Formula One. Home favourite René Arnoux swapped places with Gilles Villeneuve in a mesmerising game of cat and mouse one cutting in front before making a mistake and allowing the other back through. A packed French crowd were desperate to see Arnoux s Renault prevail but the Canadian Villeneuve would not let him get away. On the 80th and last lap of the race Villeneuve locked up his Ferrari entering the first bend and Arnoux pounced on the chance to take the tighter line. What followed was a high speed wheel to wheel battle in which they made contact three times Villeneuve slid off the track on two occasions and at one moment Arnoux raced across the grass. Eventually Villeneuve made the telling pass at Parabolique an uphill right-hander with a bold dive up the inside which he barely made stick and clung on with Arnoux fixed to his tail all the way to the chequered flag. Facebook Twitter Pinterest 5) Nelson Piquet on Ayrton Senna (Hungary 1986) Never one to shirk a confrontation Nelson Piquet threw everything at the sport s rising star Ayrton Senna during the 1986 Hungarian Grand Prix. It had been a fractious season for Piquet as his relationship with his Williams team-mate Nigel Mansell neared boiling point something which was hurting their world championship fight with the consistently quick Alain Prost and the man winning pole after pole Senna. As Formula One made its first appearance behind the Iron Curtain it was yet again Senna who began on the front of the grid and Piquet was determined to hunt him down. Twice Piquet boldly overtook his younger fellow Brazilian during the opening laps and twice Senna hit back immediately. As they began lap 57 a by-now desperate Piquet snuck a look down the inside forcing Senna to cover the centre of the Hungaroring pit straight which opened the slenderest of gaps around the outside. Piquet towed Senna s Lotus then attacked using every inch of track and a little grass to tear into the lead. As they sped into turn one Piquet appeared to have hit the brakes too late but he recovered with a drift and slide through the corner like something from a rally circuit completing an astonishing pass while cutting off any opportunity for Senna to counter again. It was a moment of masterful poise first learnt on the karting tracks of Brasília and the move soon became legendary. Prost would go on to win the 1986 world title but Piquet a then-double world champion who felt underappreciated by his sport had reminded a precocious Senna and the F1 world of his talent. Facebook Twitter Pinterest 6) Mark Webber on Fernando Alonso (Belgium 2011) Hakkinen s pass on Schumacher was special in part because he did not take his foot off the floor through Eau Rouge; 11 years later Mark Webber did the same while racing wheel to wheel with Fernando Alonso. The pair emerged from the pits with Webber tight behind Alonso s rear wing and they rounded Spa s tight turn one La Source in convoy. Webber slipstreamed and then pulled alongside Alonso as they accelerated down towards one of the most demanding corners in Formula One side by side. They climbed through Eau Rouge s swinging bends at 170mph and by the time they d reach the top Alonso had relented. Afterwards Webber admitted that he would not have tried his high-risk move alongside a less skilful driver. It takes two guys doing a good job to get all that right said Webber. It s more rewarding when you can do it with http://buybacklinkwsz.blogdigy.com/why-you-need-backlinks-2180196 someone like Fernando because he s a world-class driver and he knows when enough is enough. Time to 'junk' Jacob Zuma, says Maimane
South Africa s political crisis has intensified as tens of thousands of people joined demonstrations across the country calling for Jacob Zuma to step down police fired rubber bullets in scattered clashes and a second ratings agency downgraded the country to junk status. Thousands marched through the rainy centre of Johannesburg the commercial capital on Friday amid a heavy police presence. A large protest also took place in front of parliament in Cape Town. Smaller crowds of a few hundred people protested on suburban street corners and bridges in the main cities and towns. South Africa: ANC in chaos after Jacob Zuma sacks finance minister Read more One protester Lydia Potgieter 69 said she was there to support the efforts of all South Africans to be rid of a corrupt system that is eating away everything we have worked for over the last 20 years . Thana Dzwane 27 had left her office with five colleagues to attend the rally. It s about Zuma and his people she said. They are ruining the country. Things are only going to get worse unless there is a change soon. In Pretoria the administrative capital thousands more gathered at the Union Buildings the seat of government carrying banners reading Zuma not my president and the power of the people is stronger than the people in power . Analysts have described the crisis triggered by a cabinet reshuffle last week in which widely respected finance minister Pravin Gordhan was sacked as the most serious to face South Africa since minority white rule ended more than 20 years ago. It has laid bare deep divisions within the country and within the African National Congress the party that led the liberation struggle and has ruled since 1994. Zuma a party veteran in power since 2009 has been accused of filling posts in key institutions with loyalists packing party committees with supporters and maintaining inappropriate relations with a powerful family of local tycoons. The 74-year-old who has been named in hundreds of corruption charges denies any wrongdoing. I think this is a really important moment said Nic Cheeseman an expert in democracy in Africa at Birmingham University. The South African state is under threat The system now has problems throughout. A lot of these tendencies were latent and Zuma has been so damaging because he has brought them out. The sacking of Gordhan the finance minister led to a slide in the value of South Africa s rand currency and an almost immediate downgrading by international ratings agency Standard and Poor s. A second agency Fitch Ratings downgraded South Africa on Friday. Zuma has brushed aside calls for his resignation from veterans of the liberation struggle unions and South Africa s Communist party a historical ally of the ANC. A powerful ANC committee backed the president last week and he is expected to survive a no confidence vote in parliament later this month. There is a battle for the soul of the ANC Cheeseman said. There is the party of Nelson Mandela and the Freedom Charter; there is Zuma and his acolytes who want to use the party for their own interests. It is unclear who will win out ... but we are clearly moving downhill. Though members of all South Africa s communities were present at the protests South Africa s white minority less than10% of the population was disproportionately represented. There is a change coming said Potgieter. The white people are the middle class people. Until now they have just sat down and taken it easy while black people have done something. Now there is more mobilisation. ANC loyalists accuse the main opposition party the centre-right Democratic Alliance of being run by whites and big business CEOs . Kedibone Khumalo a http://buybacklinkz.blogdon.net/increase-traffic-to-your-blog-with-backlinks-2811787 31-year-old from a small town in rural Free State who travelled for four hours in a bus with her local ANC branch to join a Zuma support demonstration outside the party s headquarters in Johannesburg said: The whites don t like Zuma but actually he looks after everybody. It is a good government. You get roads homes free medical aid if you are pregnant. Zuma will step down as ANC president later this year. His replacement is likely to lead the country if as is widely predicted the party wins elections due in 2019. Many pundits say the ANC which suffered heavy losses in last year s municipal polls may garner less than 50% of the vote which would be a major blow. Investors fear a slew of populist measures which may further weaken a flagging economy. Malusi Gigaba the new finance minister has pledged to accelerate radical economic transformation which would redistribute wealth currently concentrated in the hands of a small part of the population . South Africa has 54 million inhabitants but just 10% possess more than 90% of the country s wealth. Ownership of land and companies remains mostly in South Africa s white communities. Zuma has recently spoken of a new bid to expropriate land without compensation from big farmers. This may play well with key rural communities which are strongholds of the ANC but has less resonance in cities where Zuma is deeply unpopular. Hundreds of ANC supporters some bearing sticks and bricks others wearing combat uniforms guarded the party s headquarters on Friday. Police fired rubber bullets after some attempted to disrupt the opposition march. Sifiso Motsweni a senior official in the ANC Youth League said the party was just defending its property from opposition thugs and accused opposition parties of trying to use unconstitutional means by taking to the streets. We are not going to listen to white people and white CEOs who do not represent the majority of South Africans This is not a race issue. White people continue to be the bosses to hold http://buybacklinksz.pointblog.net/Backlinks-Basics-And-How-Good-Websites-Go-Bad-With-Backlinks-5362691 the economy and the land. That is not racist it is real said Motsweni. Dzwane who joined the Johannesburg protest against Zuma with her colleagues said: This is not about being white or black or whatever. It is about what s best for the country.

South Africa s President Jacob Zuma has won the backing of the ruling ANC party which rejected calls for him to resign over a controversial cabinet reshuffle. The African National Congress on Wednesday acknowledged growing calls for Zuma to step down admitting to serious and difficult disagreement over the president s sacking of respected finance minister Pravin Gordhan last week. Zuma could either be ousted by the ANC recalling him or a vote of no confidence in parliament that has been scheduled for April 18. The party retains a large majority in parliament and Zuma has easily survived previous confidence votes. ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe told reporters on Wednesday that although the party had reflected on the resignation demands we won t recall President Jacob Zuma because opposition parties http://buybacklinksz.onesmablog.com/You-Can-Crush-Competition-When-You-Use-High-Value-Backlinks-6040505 say so. It won t work that way . Zuma has been under fire for several days - including from within his own camp - after dismissing Gordhan a decision that caused the rand currency to plummet. Gordhan s removal triggered unprecedented criticism from Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa as well as the party s treasurer and several ANC allies. Ramaphosa who could succeed Zuma described it as totally unacceptable . South Africa s powerful trade union federation Cosatu this week joined many anti-apartheid veterans business leaders and civil action groups calling for Zuma to step down. Mantashe - who was among those who had hit out at Zuma in recent days - said ANC would close ranks around the president and the party would iron out its differences with trade unions. Mantashe blamed Gordhan s sacking on the irretrievable breakdown in relations with the president. Gordhan was at loggerheads with Zuma for months receiving support from several ministers and major foreign investors as well as many ordinary South Africans. Gordhan had campaigned for budget discipline and against corruption but Zuma s allies accused him of thwarting the president s desire to enact radical policies to tackle racial inequality. Gordhan s sacking contributed to a credit ratings downgrade to junk status on Monday by Standard & Poor s further fuelling calls for Zuma to step down. The president has defended his change at the Treasury saying that the government s financial policies remained the same. The Swede headed what he thought was a leveller in the second half only to be scuppered by the offside flag. Replays showed he was marginally onside and Mourinho refused to criticise the linesman for the decision but did call for them to be given help from the use of video technology. They fought until the last second and we should win 2-1 because it wasn t offside Mourinho told BT Sport. It s difficult for the linesman and I m not criticising him at all. When it video technology comes in it will help linesmen and referees. It will be welcomed by everyone especially them the officials . For them it is not good when they make mistakes.

They re getting in those positions but it s concentration when it falls for you Giggs adds. Jose s said it hasn t he? It s frustrating. You re dominating games and have so many draws. You look up and it s like what could have been? There s luck too. Pogba s hit the bar nine times. If he scores those then he s got 15. It s that it s confidence - all of those need to come together. You can t just rely on one person because they can have an off day. Leicester last year. OK Jamie Vardy scored a lot of goals but Riyad Mahrez got 17. That s what you need. A taskmaster remembers Giggs. The detail the way he looked at the game I d never really seen that before. It was two years and it was like spending five years with someone else because it was so intense. He delegated. Telling a player what to do never fazed me because I d been doing it for five to 10 years anyway. Does that player need a dressing down? Does that one need an arm around him? He has not taken Mourinho s very open offer of popping down after matches this year either only accepting when United lifted the EFL Cup in February. He will be in amongst it again in Stockholm on May 24 should they win the Europa League final and Mourinho s forwards now really need to concentrate on saving their campaign. They re probably easier games in Europe. You d fancy Jose and United against those. Ask the others and they just want to avoid United Giggs reasons ahead of Thursday s quarter-final trip to Anderlecht. Ask any United fan if you get into the Champions League and win a trophy it s a good season. They are still on track to do that. BRITISH TOURIST WITNESSED THE ATTACK A British journalist who was on holiday in Stockholm described seeing lifeless bodies covered with towels after the suspected terror attack.Harriet Rose-Gale 26 from Marlborough Wiltshire was eating her lunch when a truck ploughed into pedestrians in the centre of the city. She said: I walked up the road and we could just see a lorry a truck and what we could only assume was a lifeless body in front of it. It had a peach or orange towel covering it and there was another body with a white sheet in the middle of the road. There were armed police running past us and shouting in Swedish. I don t know what they were saying. I then saw the truck coming towards me. Then I started to think about what happened in Nice and realised that the same thing is happening here in front of me. The truck was driving really fast and drove towards people at full force. I was about 100 metres 300ft from where the truck crashed. I was afraid about what I might see but I wanted to help so I left the shop and walked out and I was met by chaos. There were injured people everywhere around the truck. People around me were in shock. Everyone was crying and screaming. It felt like being in a warzone. There were several hundred people on the street. I saw at least three or four dead bodies on the street where the truck had crashed. Christoffer Ung told TT news agency: I was on my way to the exit and just saw the wall coming towards us like an avalanche. People turned in panic and fled towards the exits. My first thought was that a bomb had exploded. When I came out of the building I saw flames emerging from it. Store manager Malin Emto said: Suddenly there was a customer who had a panic attack and started screaming. We ran to the window and saw two dead bodies badly mangled. Besarta Gashi 31 who is pregnant said she and her nine-year-old daughter Leonida were feet from being crushed by the lorry. We heard screams. We started to run but did not know where it came from. Just then the truck came a hair s breadth away from us she said. I jumped away and pulled back my sister and daughter. They had just enough time to get away. I saw parts flying... many dead on the ground. A girl under the truck who could not escape. One unnamed witness told of how he saw the truck come speeding towards him. He mowed down eight people there and I saw four bodies a little further away. A woman with a small child became completely paralysed and just stood still. I grabbed her and another woman and threw us all into a stairwell. As the chaos unfurled a plain clothes officer screamed at onlookers to leave the scene warning that there could be a bomb inside the lorry. John Backvid witnessed the aftermath of the attack and told how passers-by tried to help the injured before the emergency services arrived. He told BBC News: Some people were on the ground doing CPR. The first thing I felt was a bit of smoke in the air. I saw a gathering of people and the truck on fire it was deep in the store and the store fire alarm was going. It was chaotic. I could not see if anyone was driving it but it got out of control. I saw at least two being run over. I ran as fast as I could. ATTACK MIRRORS TERROR INCIDENT IN STOCKHOLM IN 2010 The incident in the Swedish capital this afternoon mirrored a terror attack in central Stockholm in December 2010.A fortnight before Christmas a car blew up in a busy shopping area in Drottninggatan followed moments later by a second explosion nearby. The suicide bomber who blew himself up was identified as Iraqi man Taimour-Al-Abdaly 28 who graduated with a BSc in sports therapy at the University of Bedfordshire in 2004.He rigged an Audi car with explosives in the hope it would drive people to Drottninggatan a busy shopping street about 200 yards away where he was waiting to set off two more devices strapped to his chest and back. The car bomb never went off and after setting fire to the Audi he was unable to detonate the other two explosives as planned. He made his way down a side street off Drottninggatan and in an apparent attempt to fix the faulty trigger up his sleeve set off the bomb on the front of his body killing only himself. According to investigations by FBI the bombing would likely have killed between 30 and 40 people had it succeeded. In March 2011 Strathclyde Police in Scotland arrested 30-year-old Nasserdine Menni in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow in connection with the Stockholm bombing. He was jailed for seven years in 2012 after being found guilty of supplying money. He said: I went to the main street when a big truck came out of nowhere. I could not see if anyone was driving it but it got out of control. I saw at least two being run over - I ran as fast as I could. A woman called Anna witnessed the incident and described seeing hundreds of people running for their lives .She said: I turned and ran after seeing hundreds of people running they ran for their lives. Shocking video showed hundreds of terrified shoppers sprint for their lives after the truck rammed into pedestrians. In other footage shoppers pile into a clothes store as the terrorist truck speeds past.Just moments after the suspected terrorist incident armed police wearing gas masks arrived at the scene and shut off the busy road in the centre of the capital.Glen Foran an Australian tourist in his 40s said: I turned around and saw a big truck coming towards me. It swerved from side to side. It didn t look out of control it was trying to hit people it was terrible. It hit a pram with a kid in it demolished it. It took a long time for police to get here it felt like forever. Annevi Petersson who was in the fitting room of the department store at the time of the attack said: There was a lady lying with a severed foot. There was blood everywhere. There were bodies on the ground everywhere and a sense of panic people standing by their loved ones but also people running away. Maria Nathalie was on the top floor of the store when the fire alarm was triggered.Speaking on the phone she told NBC: People started running down the stairs when the fire alarm started. When we came down to the bottom of the building all we could see was a lot of smoke. As the centre of the city began to clear this afternoon the blood stains could be seen as bodies covered in blankets were left on the road.Paramedics desperately treated injured people near the lorry after they had been caught up in the attack.Terrified eyewitness Veronica Durango 42 miraculously escaped and was just one metre away from being struck by the vehicle. She told Expressen: I could have died. The Swedish royal family has issued a statement in which they say they have learned with dismay of the events. We follow the developments and our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Stockholmers appeared to be following police advice to stay indoors and avoid crowded areas with a number of normally-bustling city streets deserted. Security was also beefed up across European cities in the wake of the attack. In Norway one of the few European countries where police are not routinely armed officials announced that officers in major urban areas would now carry firearms. In a tweet Norwegian Police said officers in its largest cities and at Oslo s airport would be carrying weapons until further notice. In Finland police increased patrols in the capital Helsinki.Last night as world leaders sent messages of condolence Sweden s King Carl XVI Gustaf said his thoughts are going out to those that were affected and to their families .Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said that it looks like we have seen a despicable act of terrorism which was aimed at harming innocent people .Speaking just weeks after the Westminster terror attack Mr Khan said that we will never allow terrorists to succeed after a truck ploughed into people http://buybacklinksz.blogminds.com/what-is-angela-s-backlinking-2190904 in Stockholm. He said: My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the victims and the families who have been affected by the horrific attack in Stockholm. The full details are still emerging but once again it looks like we have seen a despicable act of terrorism aimed at harming innocent people and attacking our shared values of democracy freedom justice and tolerance. Londoners know how it feels to suffer from senseless and cowardly terrorism. And I know we share a steely determination with the people of Stockholm that we will never allow terrorists to succeed. We will never be cowed by terrorism and London stands united with Stockholm and Londoners stand with the people of Stockholm. Tensions masked by idyllic lifestyleWith its bustling pavements and elegant shops Stockholm has come to be seen as one of Europe s most peaceful and developed cities. For decades the Swedish way of politics based on fair wealth redistribution a welfare state with generous benefits a large public sector and a liberal immigration policy has been put forward as a role model for other countries.Pundits and politicians have described Sweden as the safest place on Earth and it has barely suffered from terrorist attacks.Indeed the last incident of note came in 2010 when a failed suicide bomber blew himself up in central Stockholm. But yesterday s killings come two months after US President Donald Trump was ridiculed around the world for making reference to a nonexistent terror attack in the country. more videos 1 2 3 Watch video Bus driver KICKS passenger after throwing him off the bus Watch video Couple caught getting frisky in university building Watch video Moment models go surfing in nothing but painted wetsuits Watch video Cute Chinese kid owns Little Big Shots stage with his Latin dance Watch video Chilling CCTV shows Pardeep as she is followed under bridge Watch video Amazing parrot Einstein able to mimic human sounds and movements Watch video Girl found living with monkeys can t walk or talk like humans Watch video Girl in India found living with monkeys dubbed Mowgli 2.0 Watch video An Indian girl living in the woods remains unknown to police Watch video Freeedom! But it prompted renewed debate over Sweden s refugee policy which has seen it described as the most welcoming country in the world . Some politicians say the country has struggled to deal with the huge numbers of migrants who have travelled there to enjoy the high quality of life. The surge of immigration at the peak of Europe s migration crisis in 2015 saw a record 163 000 asylum applications in just one year. The influx to a country with a population of 10million prompted officials to put in place additional checks at the country s borders.Since 2012 around 300 people have travelled from Sweden to join violent Islamist groups making the country one of the largest contributors to terrorist cells in Europe. They typically travel to Syria and Iraq but security services had felt they had stemmed the flow.Yesterday s attack will reawaken memories of Sweden s first brush with Islamist extremism when another devastating incident was only narrowly avoided on the same street. The botched 2010 plot was masterminded by a former British student who travelled to Drottninggatan as it was packed with Christmas shoppers.Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly 28 who was partly radicalised while studying in Luton had loaded his white Audi car with gas canisters which could have killed dozens.A remarkable stroke of luck however meant that the improvised weapons failed to detonate properly when the car went up in flames and only two people were injured. The sole fatality was the perpetrator himself. He had fled the vehicle carrying pipe bombs one of which exploded. How vehicles became terrorists favourite weapons Terrorists using cars and lorries to run down people like in Westminster Nice Berlin and now Stockholm is becoming the standard of an attack security experts warned.Low tech attacks using stolen and hired vehicles to randomly rammed into crowds were becoming increasing common by terrorists unable to get hold of guns and explosives. It is nigh on impossible for security services to monitor and stop potential terrorists planning such murders and the only way to prevent them is by using barriers to protect pedestrians.Managing Director of Corporate Security Services Will Geddes said attacks of this kind will likely increase. He said: We have seen a marked increase since the attacks in Nice last year and there is every good chance it will become regular as it is a very easy platform to deliver an attack. It is incredibly difficult to stop these things. We have seen something in Stockholm which is increasingly difficult to stop and we are going to see a drastic increase in the protection of pedestrianised areas. Whether they are going to be permanent or temporary time will tell. It is very difficult to stop nigh on impossible. There have been five attacks using cars and trucks in the past nine months. LondonOn 22 March Khalid Masood 52 drove a Hyundai 4x4 over Westminster Bridge mowing down members of the public before crashing into a fence beside Big Ben.He then got out of the car and attacked PC Keith Palmer with a knife. Masood was shot twice by police and died when he was taken to hospital.Five people died in the attack including PC Palmer.AntwerpThe day after the Westminster attack a man in Antwerp drove into a crowded shopping area in the Belgian city in an attempted attack but no one was injured.Prosecutors dropped terrorism charges against Mohamed R. as there was not enough evidence. He remains in custody on a weapons offence related to the incident.JerusalemOn January 8 a Palestinian lorry driver mowed down and then reversed over Israeli soldiers killing four and wounding 15 people in a shocking copycat of the Berlin and Nice terror massacres.Shocking video from the scene showed the driver reversing back over the soldiers trapping ten under his wheels during the sickening attack.BerlinA copycat ISIS-inspired massacre took place in Germany when a terrorist drove a truck through a Christmas market in Berlin.Twelve people were killed in the attack on December 19.Anis Amri stole a cargo truck and killed 12 people when he drove through a Christmas market next to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church at Breitscheidplatz.Among the dozen people killed was the original driver of the truck Lukasz Urban who was found dead with a gunshot wound in the passenger street.Amri was a Tunisian who had failed to gain asylum status in the country. He was killed in Milan four days later after an international manhunt.Nice On Bastille Day in the summer of last year 86 people were killed when a truck was driven through crowds enjoying fireworks in Nice.On the evening of July 14 2016 a 19-tonne cargo truck was driven into crowds on the Promenage des Anglais.ISIS fanatic Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel was behind the wheel and after exchanging gunfire with police the Tunisian migrant was shot dead.Thousands had gathered on the seafront to watch the fireworks that night.86 of them died and 434 were injured. Donald Trump supporters have been accused of opportunism after using the Stockholm lorry attack to claim he was right all along about Sweden. In February the US President made a seemingly confused reference to a nonexistent terror attack when he told a rally of supporters: We ve got to keep our country safe Look at what s happening in Germany look at what happened last night in Sweden. They took in large numbers of immigrants they re having problems like they never thought possible. The president was widely ridiculed because nothing of particular note and certainly no terrorist attack - had happened the previous night in Sweden. Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt mockingly asked: What has he been smoking? Read more Stockholm attack: Witnesses tell of terror as truck ploughs into crowd Mr Trump later clarified that he had in fact been referring to a Fox News item which included a clip from a film by a documentary maker who had said he wanted to investigate why Sweden has become the rape capital of Europe after admitting over 350 000 Syrian refugees. Which only led to the rapid debunking of the claim that Sweden was the rape capital of Europe. President Trump cites terrorist incident in Sweden that never happened But within hours of the Stockholm attack claiming the lives of at least three people Trump supporters were using social media to declare that the US president had been right all along. Marika Cobbold (@Marikacobbold) April 7 2017 The debate has some similarities to that which occurred two days after Mr Trump made his rally comments when rioting broke out in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby. This prompted right-wing commentators to argue that Mr Trump had been right to criticise a Swedish immigration policy that saw the country admit 163 000 asylum seekers in 2015 more refugees per capita than anywhere else in Europe. They instead emphasised that he had been talking about a break down in law and order in Sweden. They said that Rinkeby where more than 90% of residents were born abroad or have foreign-born parents was known locally as Little Mogadishu . One police officer was quoted as saying he watched the riot and suggested to a colleague: Perhaps Trump was right after all. He later insisted however that he supported Sweden s open immigration policy. Right-wing commentators also argued that Sweden s relatively low overall crime rates masked areas of high crime ethnic isolation and joblessness. They quoted figures showing that while only five per cent of 15-74-year-old Swedish-born workers are jobless foreign-born workers are three times more likely to be unemployed and 22.5 per cent of immigrants from outside the EU are out of work. Others however sought to put Sweden s problems into perspective among them those in Rinkeby itself. Four people were killed and 15 injured when a stolen truck ploughed into a crowd of people outside a busy department store in central Stockholm today police said adding that one man had been arrested. Four people have died and 15 people have been injured Stockholm police spokesman Lars Bystrom told AFP. One man had also been detained in connection with the attack he said but would not comment on media reports that he confessed to the attack. Bystrom did not say if the detained man was the suspect whose grainy picture the police released earlier on Friday. The attack was the latest in a string of assaults in Europe in which vehicles have been used. In the worst such incident 86 people died in the French city of Nice when a man rammed a truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day last year. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility.(This article has not been edited by DNA s editorial team and is auto-generated from an agency feed.)
